Phillips Wedding & Reception: Heritage Ranch in Sedalia, MO.
One of the most GORGEOUS Fall weddings I've ever been a part of capturing. Everything from the Fall decorations, the table spreads, dessert tables, etc. were all spectacular. One of my favorite pieces to see decorated was the rustic truck sitting in front of Heritage Ranch. This usually doesn't get much attention so it made my jaw drop seeing it filled with pumpkins, mums and gourds.
Another very special touch was having live music during the ceremony.
Q: Let's talk wedding decor. How did you decorate your space for the ceremony and the reception?
Dana: "We hired Geneva Harris to be our day-of coordinator, decorator, and florist. We were so short on time that I knew I couldn't be a control freak in this area, and Geneva is amazing and assured me, "Honey, don't you worry, we're going to make the whole place look fabulous."
Q: Do you have any wedding planning or marriage advice that you'd like to share with other couples planning their day?
A: When you’re planning, don’t try to do EVERYTHING that you’ve ever pinned on Pinterest. Pick a few things that are especially important to you and do those well, but don’t overthink the rest.
